Monday 07 December 2009 10:13

On December 2nd, F1000 manufacturers reached an historic agreement with SCCA officials in Topeka, Kansas, by creating a new pro series for the burgeoning F1000 / FB club car class. The manufacturers teamed up with the SCCA to provide comprehensive backing for this new series, with the initiative designed to encourage new participant growth through exposure to this exciting F1000 class throughout the Northern and Southern Pacific regions where RFR is represented by Firman West Cars.

The new F1000 Pro Series format will consist of 13 sanctioned championship events over 8 venues with the Finale Race at the National Runoffs at Road America. Racers will compete for championship points based on in-class finishing positions with a split start lineup for all National events where the series will compete.

Series contact information can be found at www.f1000proseries.com or email info@F1000proseries.com.
