Connery opts for Firman in F2000 Series.

2011 Rookie Of The Year standout, Kyle Connery will be back in the North American F2000 Championship Series this year, switching from his Van Diemen to a new 2012 Firman RFR F2000 chassis.

Connery finished 3rd in the 2011 title fight driving for CC Autosport with James Lee Racing winning 6 races along the way, including Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen.

Of the forthcoming season the 21 year old American said "I am excited to begin testing with the new Firman and feel that with James Lee's engineering, the car's updates together with the experience I gained last season, we will have a championship winning combination."
