Formula 1000 single seater race car specification
Conceived to incorporate the latest in aerodynamic and mechanical design thinking, the Firman Cars F1000 car was immediately a winner, also setting a new lap record from pole position in its debut race. Now available with the more powerful GSXR K9 Suzuki engine, with an Firman Cars developed dry sump system, the car is set to dominate the class during 2010.
Chassis | Multi-tubular stepped spaceframe chassis fabricated in 4130 chrome-moly steel incorporating a high specification bonded and riveted aluminium undertray. The chassis has been designed to comply with the FIA crash test requirements for 2009. |

Fuel system | 33 litre capacity ATL fuel cell incorporating an internal high pressure fuel pump which is wired through the ECU so isolating the pump when the engine is stopped. The fuel cell complies with FT3-1999. |
